Midtown's Little Champ
Every day, Midtown members outdo themselves and reach extraordinary personal and transformational goals. With the help of their trainers, nutritionists, and other staff members, they move forward. They evolve. They inspire. Our members are a source of pride, and each of their victories is a Midtown Moment. Here is an example!
Perhaps you have already met him (or played against him) on the squash court. His name is Karim Michael, he is 11 years old, and he’s a squash champion! Surprised? Karim is from Egypt, which is now a power house nation for squash!
Karim started playing when he was just 3 years old and first competed when he was only 5. Last year, Karim came in second in his category at the national level. His ambition knows no limits: he is now aiming for the podium in the 11-12 year old category. Just last week, Karim took first place in the Grand-Prix category at the Squash Québec junior provincial tournament.
In addition to his fitness training with Vincent Turcotte, our young champion has two squash training sessions a week with Trevor Bowes and one with Calvin Wren. Karim also regularly consults with Nutritionist Amandine, who has encouraged him to drink chocolate milk for protein. Could be worse!
Squash Québec has identified Karim as a top prospect, and Black Knight has already offered him a sponsorship, which makes him the youngest athlete ever sponsored by the company. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to play with him while you still stand a chance to win!
